Early Shiny Frame in Emerald after 3727 SRs/73 Files!. Check out this video if you don't have a clue what the broken RNG in Emerald is, but you'd like to try for an early shiny frame: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzUa4ccHaC4&list=FLXWtd4HvuXETU8u_F1tjW8g (you won't find a better video, and this guy's a pro.)
The advantage of hunting an early shiny frame in Emerald or a game with a dry internal battery is that you will ALWAYS find that shiny frame, at the exact time, EVERY time you SR. That's why even though I accidently SR'd over a shiny Treecko, I got it back in just 7 SRs because I knew where the shiny frame was (just as the location panel drops halfway.) Basically, if you find an early frame you can go ahead and SR for any stationary target (like a legend) and you are pretty much guaranteed a shiny with ease. Now I can grab me the regi trio without having to hunt them on my Sapphire individually...great!
I only did 50 SRs for each file, but the first two files I did 100 SRs which is way too many. Shinycollector7 recommends 30-50, and believe me that is honestly enough. I timed it in the way that I would do 10 quick SRs, then 10 letting the location pannel drop a quarter way down, then 10 half way down and so on. This took 8 days of hunting, which isn't bad, and treecko is dream shiny of mine. Take care guys, and good luck!
